The 2013 Pan-American Masters Championship ended on Thursday, June 13, with the 1K and 3K open water swims, held at beautiful Siesta Key Beach. Our community is so grateful to all the friendly athletes who came from all over the world. You are warm, spirited, and truly embody all that is good in Masters swimming. The event organizers are also very grateful for all the volunteers who stepped up to welcome our guests and make this an event to remember. Well done everyone, and many, many thanks to all.

Tropical Storm Andrea is out in the Gulf of Mexico. However, at this time, the Pan American Masters Championship will proceed tomorrow as planned. Please bring ponchos and rain jackets as we do expect some wind and rain.
We will be monitoring the storm throughout the night and early morning hours to assess any risk to the safety of the athletes, spectators, and event staff. We will notify you accordingly, via this email, if there are any changes to the schedule of events.
